As a storyteller, José Sarmento de Matos is a master at bringing magic to the mundane. Born in Sintra and based in London, the Portuguese photographer – one of the winners of Magnum’s ‘30 under 30’ award in 2015 – consistently turns everyday scenes into powerful and memorable images.

Suitable for enthusiasts, hobbyists and professionals alike, the workshop will cover anticipation, editing, light, framing, interaction with subjects and more. If you’d like to win one of eight spaces, simply email win@tcolondon.com by 12 March, 2018 with your full name, email address and phone number.
