A daily dip into the HUCK back catalogue.
We delve into the HUCK archives to revisit our feature on skate-influenced fine artist, Adrian Rubi-Dentzel.
Says Rubi-Dentzel: “I love that craftsmanship is so non-digital. I love the hands-on process because it’s so real; it’s unarguable. If you have a block of wood and you have to get it to a certain shape, there’s nothing you can do apart from carve it or sand it. There’s something about that process that is very satisfying. Decorative design can be interesting and really great, but I like to play with the function of things and sort of twist them in a way that adds a new or different function to something familiar.”
