Red Bull recently posted a video featuring their team riders learning how to use traditional surfboards used by fishermen in Peru.
Sally Fitzgibbons went along with Sofia Mulanovich and Nadja de Col to learn how to ride the caballitos de totoras that have been used by the Moche people for over 3,000 years.
As you can see from the video, the ancient sea sticks are far heavier and more difficult to control that the ladies' modern day equivalents.
Looks like a lot of fun though!
