Arniko handcarved skateboards
Wooden decks from Nepal.
Each of the skateboards that Marius Arniko Arter and his 11 friends wood-carve by hand in Nepal, is totally unique and environmentally friendly.
Arniko make a range of street wear as well as the skateboards which are designed to "pass on the spirit of Himalaya" and create jobs for talented wood-carving artists in one of the poorest countries in the world.
The boards are made for cruising and therefore have the classic slalom board shape, which developed from the surfer scene in the seventies.
They ship internationally and boards can be bought directly from their online store.
