Element Eden advocate, Miya Ando, is showing off her latest installation Luminous Transcendent at the Dam Stuhltrager gallery, Berlin, from February 20 - March 20.

Ando will be constructing a series of wall works on steel panels that absorb available light sources and can be seen in darkness or dusk for an hour or so.

The installation will also contain a collaboration with interactive artist James George - a sculpture, like a steel cube - that mimics normal breathing patterns via a light transmitted through the cube.

Says Ando: "These pieces are meant to capture the transitory and fleeting nature of light, and the ways in which it can provide illumination after its departure."
