‘Bad Dads’ exhibition
Artists pay homage to filmmaker Wes Anderson with a collection of original pieces.
Bad Dads, an exhibition paying tribute to the cult films of director Wes Anderson, has opened at the LoPo Gallery in San Francisco.
The pieces appearing in the exhibition include the work of almost 70 artists including pop art big shots Dave MacDowell, Ana Bagayan, and Caia Koopman.
Says hosts Spoke Art: "In addition to catchy soundtracks, sharp dialogue and effortless cinematography, one of the main underlying themes to many of the iconic and cult-status films of Wes Anderson is the incorporation of characters with family issues, notably father issues".
If San Francisco is just a little bit to far away for you, then you can buy a selection of prints from the show from Spoke Art's website.
The exhibition is open now and will run until November 27.
