The Creative Lives have just put out a short documentary on artist Barry McGee.
The video documents the San Francisco artist reinstalling a piece of his work originally created in 1996 at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art for their 75th Anniversary retrospective.
Says McGee: 'I'm used to things getting painted over, eliminated and destroyed. There's something really refreshing about that. Here there are things categorised and labelled from 1996 that I wouldn't mind throwing away right now. Impermance in a little more interesting for me."
McGee, it seems, is not one for nostalgia.
