Music video, television and film director Tamra Davis is releasing a documentary about the late artist, and her friend, Jean-Michel Basquiat, due for release this year.
The documentary is made up of footage Tamra filmed before Basquiat's untimely death in 1988 and had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January.
Tamra's husband and Beastie Boy Mike D is credited as contributing to the musical score.
