Beautiful Losers Dunk Highs totally rock!
We are all aware of the dizzy heights of the Beautiful Losers documentary. Directed by Aaron Rose, It records the lives and creative process of artists including Barry McGee, Shepard Fairey, Thomas Campbell, Ed Templeton and Geoff McFetridge, among others, whose individual approaches have shaped a generation.
To celebrate the film's release, Nike's very own Jesse Leyva has created a series of 22 NIke Dunk Highs plastered from heel to toe in stills from the movie. The sneakers have just been auctioned off for the Children’s Aid Society following on from their showcasing at the numerous Nike exhibitions.
Aaron Rose says, "We went back to the documentary and pulled frame stills of what we felt were key moments in the narrative. We used these moments to tell the Beautiful Losers story using the shoes as a medium, with the end result being a collection of works of art.”
Here are just a few. They're just totally ace and I want the top ones!
