This video of Bethany Hamilton dropping into Jaws on December 5 2009 has been shortlisted for the Best Girls Performance category in the Billabong XXL Awards.
The clip seems even more incredible considering Bethany lost her arm in a shark attack just six years ago.
Bethany is currently filming biopic Soul Surfer which tells the tale of her recovery and return to competitive surfing just three months after the attack.
