Billabong have just released the first of their webisodes in the lead up to the Billabong Pro Tahiti contest taking place from August 23 to September 3.
The short video shows off the formidable break of Teahupo'o with snippets of wisdom from those surfers brave enough to have dropped in on this particular wave.
Says one fearless soul: "If you win this contest, you're gonna be a hero!"
And if you lose, you may have a rather large dry cleaning bill.
