Commonwealth Stacks is relaunched
Michael Leon revamps his skateboarding company.
Prolific artist and designer Michael Leon is relaunching his skateboarding company Commonwealth Stacks for 2010.
He has enlisted an all-star group of contributors including editor of Slap Magazine Mark Whiteley, Yong-Ki Chan of Solitary Arts and art director of Girl, Andy Jenkins.
Leon has a three-pronged attack for the new Stacks which includes utility, storytelling and fun.
Says Leon: "If we can make it better, we will. The fringes of skate culture from the four corners of the earth. Get on a plane. Get involved. Communicate through thoughtful graphics, photography, and writing. Share and collaborate with global contributors."
