Italian streetwear brand 55DSL will be in London this Saturday night at the Cornet Theatre sponsoring the Cut&Paste Digital Design Tournament.

Everyone is invited to come watch designers go head to head as their work is projected in real-time for a live audience. In addition to this live design contest there will be an Audience Design Contest presented by the DSL crew.

Audience members are encouraged to create an electronically generated T-shirt that fits 55DSL’s Fifth Dimension theme — a cosmic and psychedelic Wild West.

The winning entry will be awarded with a complete 55DSL Spring/Summer 2009 collection outfit and win a trip to New York City to be recognised at the Global Championships.

Do people want to watch those with design skills sat at their computer designing? I'm not sure if i might prefer to watch a someone from Allied carpets laying a laminate floor in the front room whilst battling against a further employee fitting carpet in the spare room. Actually, Thinking about it, I might prefer to watch someone designing.
