Snowboarder picks up sponsorship from pizza snacks.
It's just been announced that Danny Davis has been sponsored by Totino Pizza Rolls snacks. The 21-year-old snowboarder, who is also sponsored by Burton, Analog and Mountain Dew, seems to have now got all his nourishment needs sorted.
But what is exactly involved in being sponsored by some snack food company? Sticker on the board, cheque in the bank and as many microwave pizza snacks as you can eat?!
You can't blame Danny for such an endorsement, forgive the expression but a man's gotta eat. Turning athletes into billboards is nothing new, this just seems to be taking it to the next (perhaps ill-fitting?) level.
Although come to think of it, I am getting a bit peckish. Hmm, pizza. Shit, it's working already!
