BLU x David Ellis animation
Street artists make paint come alive in a derelict Italian courtyard.
David Ellis and BLU have collaborated to produce this magical animation as part of the Fame Festival in Grottaglie, Italy.
The piece took 10 days to paint, film and edit despite set-backs from "mosquitos, rain and bored assistants," which is really rather incredible when you think it took Michelangelo something like six years to paint the ceiling of the Sistene Chapel, and he didn't have to animate it either!
The Fame Festival runs until the end of September and features work from artists like Mark Jenkins, Slinkachu, Conor Harrington and Word to Mother.
