The Surfrider Foundation has sponsored a litter-pick by the North County Beach Clean Up collective at Moonlight State Beach in Encinitas, CA on November 21.
People at the clean-up will be encouraged to pick up all the small pieces of trash on the beach including plastic wrappers, bottle caps and cigarette butts that marine and land animals may mistake for food.
There will be doughnuts and coffee for all volunteers, as well as the satisfaction of a clean beach for everyone to enjoy.
