Since its origins in the '70s, Earth Day has grown into an internationally recognised annual celebration of this planet we call home.
All it took was for 20 million protestors marching against pollution, deforestation, species extinction and climate change to realise they were fighting the same forces and band together.
So what exactly is Earth Day? Find out in the Watch Mojo video at the bottom, then be inspired by the next generation of protestors - ala Climate Change - as Greenpeace asks you to join their 3 million online campaigners on greenpeace.org/me2 on top.
