Eastpak store launch goes mental

The UK Eastpak Icon Store launched on Thursday 18th September 2008 at No.1 Carnaby Street, one of London's most iconic shopping destinations.

Word had obviously got out. It was a road block with over 350 people turning out to celebrate the second European Icon store opening.  Tunes were provided by Carl Barat (Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things) and Annalisa Astarita, Nick Grimshaw, Bioux Lee Hayes and of  course the incredible Eastpak Throwdown crew, as appeared in HUCK #011. The doors were thrown open to entertain the masses who promptly quaffed gallons of Moet, Finlandia, Budweiser and Fentimans until the bar was dry! (Disclaimer: your friends at HUCK advise you to drink responsibly - yeah right!!!)

The Icon stores provide all the Eastpak lines including Authentic, Core Series, RAF Simons as well as Eastpak Apparel, in one handy, shop-sized location! The UK Icon store is just the second in Europe and 5th Worldwide. The Icon stores have been placed in key iconic cities across the globe including Moscow, San Paulo and Milan.

Yeah, ribs!
