Playmaker recently posted a video of Elias Elhardt taking one for the team while filming in the backcountry for the Pirates and Rip Curl film, Welcome Home 2.
The Pleasure Jam best trick winner was attempting a cliff drop when he misjudged the angle and went down hard on his ankle.
Elias will now be out of action until summer but he has been told by doctors that he can expect to make a full recovery.
Looks like Elias now has time to cash in that ticket to Bali that he won recently.
