Things are kicking off for the European Skateboard Championships in Basel this weekend.
There'll be laughter, tears and a ton of grazes in Switzerland as 490 skaters from 22 different countries descend on the comp in its ninth year.
Previous winners, Juergen Horrwarth from Berlin, Phil Zwijsen from Belgium and Ianire Elorriaga from Spain will be back to defend their titles against top rippers like Ricardo Paterno and Axel Cruysberghs.
