Europe’s Bread and Butter sandwich
Twice a year the Fira de Barcelona becomes an altar for fashion. Bread & Butter hosts a range of labels so extensive that 90-odd thousand people will pass through the entrance over 3 days in early July to see them.
HUCK is a media partner due the presence of a number of streetwear labels who we know and love, and some of the team will be there getting hot and sweaty trying to see all-and-sundry through a throng of continentals. Its not all work, work, work though and the parties are a much-publicised part of the event.

This summer things have changed a bit and the theme is New Order. Whilst always the place to be, B&B has also been a little confusing in its layout. New Order hopes to straighten things out and make the whole experience more fluid and efficient, to ensure consistent footfall throughout the show. Changes include a new entrance and the BBBoulevard which will take the visitor though all areas, hopefully giving equality to all exhibitors.

So my impression is: if you're a brand new T-shirt designer with a small collection, you'll apparently be seen as easily as G-Star. And my initals are YSL. Money will always talk and this show is one of the great exponents, so ignore that and enjoy the glamour, hospitality and vibrancy that comes with holding a fashion show in such a great city.
