Extremely Sorry scored
The newest Flip video, Extremely Sorry is one of the most anticipated skate videos in the past couple years.
Now, it's just been announced that premiere league music producer DJ Baron has teamed up with Flip to create a completely unique soundtrack for the film.
The soundtrack has already been years in the making and features a long list of musical styles to go along with each riders part. Baron worked alongside Flip video director Ewan Bowman and Flip pro and co-owner Geoff Rowley as he scored original tracks to match the videos all-around style.
Says Baron: "Extremely Sorryhas been 4 years in the making and the most insane journey I have been on. The music was made to serve the skateboarding and the skateboarding is epic."
Through an array of relationships, Baron, Geoff Rowley and the FLIP team were able to arrange a mix of artists to provide vocals throughout the soundtrack. So far, more details have yet to be released, however there is said to be appearances from major acts in the rock, rap and punk genres.
Flip have also partnered with Volcom Entertainment to distribute and market the album and Flip believes this soundtrack will set the standard to come for skate films in the future.
To give a taste of what the soundtrack will be like, Flip has released an instrumental track from the David Gonzalez trailer, available on the Volcom Entertainment website for free.
The soundtrack will be released in stores on October 20.
