Finisterre ‘Anabatic MK II’ jacket
Finisterre have just launched the their first fully recyclable waterproof shell jacket called the Anabatic MK II.
The award-winning ethical clothing label have used their exclusive waterproof and breathable C-Shell fabric to construct this jacket that features a helmet compatible hood, waterproof chest pockets and comes in four colours.
Says Finisterre’s design director Tom Podkolinski: “We weren’t happy with the membranes that the industry uses for waterproof jackets in terms of the environmental implications of manufacture and waste. [The Jacket] had to work with the range of challenging activities that our customers do and the extreme locations they are working in, alongside meeting our demanding standards environmentally in terms of sourcing, manufacture and garment lifecycle.”
The Anabatic MK II retails at £180 and is available from the Finisterre online store from next week.
