The talented dudes at Flatlight Films in the Finnish Lapland have created a beautiful timelapse of the northern lights or 'Aurora Borealis' as it's officially known, for the tourist board Visit Finland.
The phantasmagorical edit, filmed with on DSLR cameras with super long exposures and remote pan/tilt heads, is not just an exercise in fine art film, but a reminder of nature's extraordinary exuberance in the Scandinavian countryside.
Absolutely beautiful.
