Snow filmmakers descend on the French Pyrenees this January.
From 22nd to 24th January, the Pyrenean resort of St Lary-Soulan plays host to the 4th International Free Ride Film Festival. Over the three day period, the festival wil lscreen no less than 15 international skiing and snowboarding films along with various other contests, demos, training for beginners - as well as a few parties along the way!
The Festival is a unique opportunity to showcase the diversity and artistic quality of snowsports culture. "More than a mere sport," says the organisers. "The aim is to pay hommage to the films which have helped skiing and snowboarding to flourish".
