Globe ‘Ungu’ video
Experimental surf action based around the colour magenta.
Globe have just released a short and strange surf video called Ungu.
It features surfing from CJ Hobgood, Taj Burrow and Nate Tyler shot like a 1970s Super 8 surf film accompanied by the sounds of The Dead Weather.
There's also a selection of bikini-clad women lurking in the foreground who have been painted magenta. Well, either that or they've been out in the sun too long.
Ungu is a winner of TransWorld Surf's recent Imaginarium contest, that aimed to push the boundaries of surf photography by basing a short film themed around one colour of the CMYK colour model.
As you can see, those boundaries have been pushed...
