Surf film God Went Surfing with the Devil will be screened at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 8.
This film, directed by Alexander Klein, documents Surfing 4 Peace's efforts to bring surfing to the people of Israel and the Gaza Strip.
Says Klein: "Every guy we talked to had either seen combat or knew someone who'd been killed in combat. So that's a pretty heavy weight to carry around, and for a lot of them, surfing is an escape."
