Habitat introduces new innovation in skateboard decks.

These limited-edition cruisers feature a real cork sheet laminate on the top ply of the deck, eliminating the need for griptape.

At the moment, there are two Custom Cork Ply shapes from Habitat Pros SIlas Baxter-Neal and Stefan Janoski. There's also a super limited-edition Stefan Daily Use model that shares the same artwork of his first Nike SB Pro Model shoe.

Not bad. From what I've heard the cork top is real soft, like a cork bulletin board. This not only is easy on those new kicks you're looking to preserve but you can also take one of these to the street barefoot, if you were so inclined.

  • I'm really into the idea of cork instead of grip tape, this is genius. And yes, I would be inclined to ride barefoot.
