Illustration Cupboard ‘Maurice Sendak’
A rare selection of original work from Where The Wild Things Are creator, Maurice Sendak.
A great selection of rare illustrations by Maurice Sendak are being exhibited as part of the 14th Annual Winter Exhibition at the Illustration Cupboard gallery, St James, London until January 31.
The exhibition includes the much sought-after sets of signed original lithographs Sendak produced with his publishers Harper and Row in 1971 as well as a number of other rare prints signed by the Where The Wild Things Are creator.
What's more many of the pieces are on sale so you can own a piece of Wild Things history, or surprise your loved one with the best christmas present ever (hint, hint mum and dad).
Other illustrators on show include Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park, Danger Mouse creator Brian Cosgrove and Children's Laureate, Anthony Browne.
