Innersection ‘Behind The Movie’ video
New collaborative surf film shows what went into making it.
Surf filmmaker Taylor Steele has just released a behind-the-scenes video on his new movie, Innersection.
The video charts the difficulties and the wonders of making this noteworthy film that saw 25 surfers team up with 25 directors, creating a smorgasbord of tones, aesthetics and styles.
It features the likes of Tofino cold water surfer Peter Devries teaming up with Jeremy Koreski; Hawaiian ripper John John Florence shot through the eyes of Reagan Ritchie; and Josh Kerr filmed by Jimmy Graham.
Says Steele: "On paper, it seemed great that it was going to be a lot easier on me: I was just going to work with the filmmakers and give me my two cents but in the end, logistically, it was the toughest thing I've ever done."
Innersection is available to order on the website or, if you'd prefer, at your local surf shop.
