Hush ‘Innocence’ exhibition
Street artist launches solo show in London.
Hush reveals his new exhibition Innocence, an ironic take on the dark, explicit undertones of Japanese manga and anime art, at the Urban Angel Art Lounge, London from November 12 - 28.
The exhbition will feature four installations as well as paintings, works on paper, wood cubes and limited-edition screenprints.
It coincides with the recent debate in Bristol about whether street art is art or graffiti (Hush makes a strong argument for the former).
Talking about the characters in his work Hush says: "The simple expressions and glazed eyes suggest purity and innocence whereas the provocative images of the female form suggest the opposite."
