‘Intentio’ trailer
Stunning existential surf film in the making.
Surf filmmaker Loïc Wirth has recently released this trailer to his new movie, Intentio.
It features to likes of Chippa Wilson, Jean da Silva and Craig Anderson surfing the beautiful breaks across such countries as Uruguay, New Zealand and Brazil.
However, by focusing on the beauty of nature, it appears to be taking a far more existential look at life itself! It has been narrated by snow photographer Vernon Deck.
Says Wirth: "The funny thing about fairy tales, is that we forget about them so fast. And we grow up, we buy things, we build up fences. We sell our innocence and forget our dreams. We forget who we are in order to be something we're not.And we'll keep believing in this so called truths, until we forget how to live. Or until we open our eyes, and wake up."
The film is currently in production and Wirth has yet to give a release date.
