Want to do the do at the Do Lectures? Get a wriggle on

The good men, women and children at Howies have just announced there closing date for applicants for the Do Lectures. From 25th July, all the folk that have put pen to paper and fully explained why they want a slice of the action will be hearing back to see if they’re fortunate enough to make the cut. That leaves you with a mere four weeks to get some thinking and pen pushing done if you want to attend…


The Do lectures will be are held between 4th and 8th of September at Forest Farm, Cardigan, West Wales. It’s about getting a handful of speakers together with the hope that they inspire those listening to get out there and do something. The idea that being we can change shit by actively doing something about it.

Thus far, the following have said they’re in:

Michael Braungart Co-author of the ‘Cradle to Cradle’ book; one of the most important books on design for a couple of decades.

Ken Yeang An architect and ecologist, he is the author of ‘Eco Skyscrapers’.

John Grant Author of ‘The Green Manifesto’ and one of the most forward thinking thinkers of his time.

Andy Kirkpatrick If he doesn’t inspire you to climb your own mountain, no one will.

Russell Davies Strategist, futurist, blogger, gadget maker and organiser of all things interesting.

Andrew Whitley Author of ‘Bread Matters’, one of the most important books on getting bread back to simple.
