‘Lunchbreak’ video

Cos We Can Stories have just released this short surf movie, Lunchbreak.

Directed by Clare Plueckhahn and Fran Derham, the video splices together surf action with a battle-of -the-sexes narrative at an idyllic surf spot in Australia.

With the help of some wobbly acting, it tells the story a gang of girls kicking boys out of a surf spot before some groms come along and start vandalising windscreens with surf wax.

The film is set to appear at the New York Surf Film Festival from September 15-17.
