M83 ‘Midnight City’ video

Filmmaker Dustin Sussman has just released this unofficial video to Midnight City by M83.

The basis of this edit is the 1989 film Gleaming the Cube, starring a very fresh-faced Christian Slater, that is given a fresh yet very-fitting soundtrack by the French electro group.

Be sure to keep a look out for Rodney Mullen, Lance Mountain and Mike McGill as stunt doubles as well as Tony Hawk and Christian Hosoi playing members of Slater's totally-awesome skate crew.

It seems very unfair that history has been so unkind to the film...!
