Madeln ‘Seeing One’s Own Eyes’ exhibition
Chinese art collective's first ever European show.
The Ikon Gallery in Birmingham will host an exhibition of works by art collective Madeln until July 11.
The collective was founded by Chinese artist Xu Zhen, who is one of the country's most renowned conceptual artists.
The exhibition will encompass sculptures, videos, installations and other forms of media to display stereotypical images of the Middle East in an attempt to raise issues of cultural perception.
This is the first time Madeln has exhibited in Europe so it should be a must see event.
