Marco Grilc wins O’Neill Evolution slopestyle comp
Slovenian rider claims top spot at 5-star TTR event in Davos, Switzerland.
Marco Grilc as claimed his second podium top spot of the season after winning the O'Neill Evolution slopestyle.
The rider from Slovenia sealed victory and walked away with a cheque for $15,000USD with his unbeatable 93.50 after stomping a backside 1080 double cork on his first run.
His corks were imitated by defending TTR World Tour champion Peetu Piiroinen but after he fell on his final run, he finished in third place behind Ville Paumola.
Says Grilc: "I'm just waiting to wake up, as this feels just like a dream."
