Ari Marcopoulos ‘Directory’ book

Photographer Ari Marcopoulos is set to release a new book called Directory.

The book documents the photographer/filmmaker’s exploits through 1,200 pages of his favourite photos, all reproduced as black and white photocopies.

Says Marcopoulos: "I have been making photocopies for years, first just as a tool to figure out book layouts, but always loving the look. Then it was a question of being tired of endless tinkering to get a 'perfect' color [sic] print. With photocopies, it’s all pretty straightforward."

Directory is released on March 5 by Rizzoli and Nieves.
