In our new blog series that delves into the HUCK archives, we revisit Brazilian big wave charger Maya Gabeira.
Says Gabeira: "I feel lonelier nowadays, with all the travelling I do. You see, the path to get here was very lonely, always on the move, no stability, no attachment to anyone… But if I was to stick with someone, whether a best friend or something, then I just wouldn’t be where I’m at, right?"
