Surf photographer Mickey Smith has made a short film about the ocean for the BBC's Springwatch TV show.
It sees the pay homage to his love of all things relating to the sea and highlights the challenges he faces when trying to capture this beauty.
Says Smith: "No wave ever breaks the same. It's like some crazy ever changing canvas. I set myself a challenge each time I go out to capture one beautiful moment in the sea."
