‘Mourir Auprès de Toi’ film

Nowness has just released this short animated film, Mourir Auprès de Toi.

Directed by Spike Jonze, this stop-motion animation tells a tragicomic love story between a skeleton and a woman who live on the embroidered covers of  books in a Parisian store.

Sounds pretty random? Jonze has explained his motivation: "a short is like a sketch. You can have an idea or a feeling and just go and do it."
