Where? I've never heard anyone say that.

Also bright colours does not necessarily equal "the latest gear" - see any snowboard flick from the 80s for proof.

As far as I am aware, snowboarding has never been a 'free' sport.

So getting sucked in to the commerical side is wearing bright clothes? That just doesn't make sense. They are just wearing some outerwear to go riding in, and most outerwear is bright because it shows up better on the mountain and in photographs

Yeah, you're right Tim J. Maybe they are a bunch of sponsored riders or conceivably they're a bunch of rich kids who've spent all of there pocket money on the latest fashions?

That picture up top looks like the internal workings of a tube of smarties!!! What's with this 'Joseph and the Amazing technicolour Dreamcoat' aesthetic that these schmucks have to be a part of? Will they get cast away by there pals if they don't sport this poppycock? So lame that these Rock n Roll XXXTREME downhill chumps can't come up with a slice of individuality...
