Obey have just released this short retrospective video, The Rise.
It features the brand's founder Shepard Fairey talking about the influence that graffiti, skateboarding and punk rock have had on his art and his life in general.
Says Fairey: "Skateboarding was about promoting your company with stickers, t-shirts and stencils, and punk rock was about stencilling your band logo on a t-shirt and making flyers. I got into [making art] because of those scenes."
