‘Oil And Water Do Not Mix’ prints
Artist puts waste spillage to good use for an environmental cause.
Artist Anthony Burrill and Happiness Brussels have teamed up to create a series of screenprints made from oil collected from the shores of the Gulf of Mexico following the Deepwater Horizon disaster.
All proceeds raised from the prints will benefit Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana, a non-profit organisation dedicated to restoring the Gulf of Mexico’s coastal wetlands.
A limited edition run of 200 prints have been made which are available to buy for €150 from the website. They even put together a video to show you how they made them.
Lovely.
