O’Neill Cold Water Classic 2010 hits Canada
The rugged surf contest comes to Tofino on Vancouver Island.
The O'Neill Cold Water Classic once again returns to the shores of Tofino on Vancouver Island, BC from October 9 - 15.
This 6 Star WQS event will see 140 surfers battle against rain, sleet and bleak surf of the North Pacific.
This year the mobile event takes on a new level with the Pacific Rim National Park reserve offering yet another break for the event to explore along the Vancouver Island coastline.
“To me this is one of the most beautiful surf locations on the planet,” said local surfer and last year's winner Peter Devries. “Combine that with the variety in weather and wave conditions we see in October and you've got an event unlike any other.”
You can follow all the action from the comfort of your mobile via Cold Water Classic iPhone app.
