Billabong recently posted a video featuring Joel Parkinson's experience of the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach, Australia.
Joel talks about the less-than-favourable conditions during the contest and goes out on the waves for some early morning practice with his children.
There is also a mildly amusing clip of Joel getting caught trying to sabotage Mick Fanning's car.
Maybe if Joel had spent less time goofing around and more time concentrating he might have placed better in the contest.
That's right, I went there!
