Billabong have released this video of Joel Parkinson surfing near his home after a flat christmas on the Gold Coast.
Parko chats about his christmas, getting back into the water and then surfs his favourite Snapper Rocks spot.
He later tweets: "Oh My God.. Just surfed snapper, best it's been in 5 years. Amazing."
