Patagonia x Sweetgrass ‘Signatures’ film
New Japanese backcountry snow documentary takes you deep into the Hokkaido mountains.
Patagonia have teamed up with snow film company Sweetgrass Productions to produce new film Signatures.
Shot deep within the coastal mountains of Niseko in Hokkaido, this backcountry documentary charts the remote freeride lines, deep powder and mountain culture of this remote part of Japan.
This HD film documents the relationships local photographers and riders have to the mountains, the sea and the different seasons, and includes all forms of snow-sliding such as snowboarding, noboarding, skiing and telemarking.
