Pictoplasma crosses the Atlantic for the first time

Set up in 1999, the Berlin based Pictoplasma project is to hold its annual conference in NYC for the first time. From September 5-6, they'll be at The Skirball Center, 566 LaGuardia Place, NYC and will be bringing folk together to discuss the world of character driven art and design. The event will be offering two solid days of lectures, exhibitions, film screenings and parties.

Pictoplasma aim to bring together an international scene of artists and designers and offer a forum from which they can discuss, debate, share, drink... whatever... Whether it be illustration, animation, graphic design, urban vinyl, street of fine art - the emphasis is not on limits of style, but instead on a shared dedication to explore character driven aesthetic.

A whole host of folk will be there to host lectures, including Tim BIskup, Friends With You, Tokyoplastic to name a few, check out Pictoplasma to find the full run down of speakers.
