‘Rio Breaks’ LA screening
Brazilian surf documentary hits the City of Angels.
Surf documentary Rio Breaks is being shown at the Frankovich Barnes Screening Room in the American Film Institute on North Western Avenue, Los Angeles on August 27.
The film, written and co-produced by HUCK founder Vince Medeiros alongside director Justin Mitchell, tells the story of Naama and Fabio, two teenage surfers who are trying to navigate their way through life in a favela near Arpoador Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The screening starts at 8.00pm and will be followed by a party to celebrate the release of the DVD.
